INCLUSION

The inclusive Brotherwood design enables the wheelchair passenger to travel directly between the 2 full-size rear passenger seats, with a 27″ seat-to-seat gap. As an added bonus, 2 further seats can be optionally equipped in the third row.

SPACE

The huge interior space offered by the Vito Tourer is enhanced by Brotherwood, the only Vito Tourer WAV conversion with a fully lowered, level floor offering an unbeatable 60″ internal headroom and entry height for wheelchair passengers.

HOOK-I PAWRS

Ensuring both easy access, and safety and stability when travelling, the Hook-i PAWRS remote-controlled front restraint system also offers powered assistance when loading a wheelchair and passenger. PAWRS makes loading effortless for combined wheelchair and passenger weights up to 250kg, with no pushing. Once inside the vehicle, PAWRS restrains the wheelchair in place, providing a secure and stable ride in conjunction with the rear restraint belts. A three-point cross and lap safety belt is also fitted as standard to ensure safety for the wheelchair user.

VISIBILITY

The central wheelchair location and deep, level floor conversion enable fantastic outward visibility for the wheelchair passenger. As an added bonus the central air vent creates a comfortable atmosphere for the wheelchair user to enjoy.

Features

Low, Flat, Level Floor

A steeply sloping floor, sitting too high or far back in the vehicle can not only be isolating, but also an uncomfortable ride for the wheelchair user. The level, lowered floor of a Brotherwood® conversion offers a stable, comfortable, natural seating position, for better visibility, inclusion and ride quality.

Spacious Headroom

Our lowered floor allows a huge headroom inside the Vito Tourer. As a result the wheelchair user enjoys excellent visibility out of the large windows. Sitting lower in the vehicle also lowers the wheelchair user’s centre of gravity, reducing the feeling of body roll for a better ride.
Mercedes WAV Seats

Full Size Second-Row Seats

The second row seats are full size for optimal passenger comfort, yet still offer 28.5″ of space in between thanks to our innovative Brotherwood configuration. This means the wheelchair user can travel between the 2 rear seats inclusively.

Third Row Seats

The Ex-i60 can be fitted with an additional two seats in the third row, enabling up to 7 individuals to travel together. The specially shaped seats are scuplted to allow 27” of access space between them, meaning that the wheelchair user can embark and disembark without removing or folding the seats, and without the need for any of the other passengers to move. Alternatively an emergency spare wheel can be fitted in lieu of one third row seat. Optional Fitment on All Models.

Hook-i PAWRS

The Hook-i PAWRS is a remote-controlled, powered front restraint system, to assist loading a wheelchair and passenger. No pushing required, simply attach the restraints and press the remote control for effortless loading of combined wheelchair and passenger weights up to 250kg.

Our custom-built, lightweight ramp is counterbalanced, so that it can be lifted with minimal effort by foot or hand. The angle is shallow to enable easy loading , while long life fittings ensure minimal maintenance and reliable performance for years to come. Finished with a high-traction surface that makes access easy for manual or power chairs.

For complete peace of mind we offer an annual Safety Assurance Programme. A qualified service engineer will visit at a time and place that suits you, to perform a full 15-point conversion safety inspection, including restraints, ramp, safety belts and more to ensure safe operation of your conversion.

For Motability clients an annual inspection is included at no cost for the first 5 Years of the Motability agreement. For all other clients the first annual visit is free of charge. You can then choose to book one or more subsequent annual visits.
