For individuals with spinal sensitivities or neurological symptoms, ride quality is paramount. Our lowered floor design ensures the wheelchair user sits centrally between the axles – not over the rear wheels – minimising vibration and “body roll” for a smoother, more stable journey.
Inclusion
Recovery is holistic. Our priority is to ensure the wheelchair user travels at the same head height as other passengers, sitting as part of the social group rather than being isolated. This promotes conversation, emotional well-being and easy medical intervention when required.
Posture
A key consideration for people with spinal cord injuries, our level, flat floor ensures the wheelchair remains neutral and balanced in transit, providing an ergonomic seating position that promotes optimal posture and minimises the risk of pressure injury.
Visibility
Enabling the wheelchair user to see comfortably out of the windows and windscreen enhances ride comfort, and crucially, reduces the likelihood of travel or motion sickness. Safety
Our vehicle conversions undergo rigorous testing, including ISO 10542 compliance. Positioning the wheelchair user further forward, away from the rear impact zone, ensures that tie-down restraints can be fixed at the optimum 30 to 45-degree angle for maximum security and dependability.
Ease of Use
Features like our PAWRS (Power Assisted Wheelchair Restraint System) and STORQ (automatic tensioning) mean loading and securing a heavy wheelchair requires minimal physical effort, reducing the risk of strain for family and professional care teams and reducing the physical burden on carers.
