Disabled father and daughter work their way through unique to-do list

An inspirational disabled father and daughter have spent the last eighteen months working their way through a list of 50 things which they both want to do before their conditions worsen.

Both Nigel and Ellie Holland, who are 50 and 10 years old respectively, suffer from a degenerative illness known as Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), which has now resulted in Nigel having limited use of his hands and being reliant on a wheelchair.

However, as the Telegraph reports, this has not stopped he and his daughter having a real thirst for adventure, so far completing 47 of the tasks they had planned. Despite needing a mobility vehicle to travel long distances, Nigel has done scuba diving, completed a half-marathon, gone zorbing and skiing recently, all with Ellie by his side.

As it stands, only three tasks remain – having their photo published in a national newspaper, meeting John Cleese and catching a big sea fish!
