Over the May bank holiday, hundreds of wheelchair users, their families, carers and occupational therapists were in attendance at the exclusive Brotherwood WAV WEEKEND event, held at the amazing Haynes International Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset, to witness the reveal of their latest development:

The new Brotherwood Klastar Long , Brotherwood’s newest wheelchair-accessible iteration of the luxurious Mercedes-Benz V-Class.

Brotherwood have developed the Klastar Long in response to client feedback asking for a vehicle with a little extra usable space, without sacrificing the manoeuvrability and easy handling of the compact V-Class. A hugely luxurious vehicle, the V-Class packs a high specification as standard including satellite navigation, leather interior, powered tailgate and doors – the luxury of the V-Class complimented by the discrete Brotherwood Klastar Long conversion; a full length, flat level lowered floor conversion with 57″ internal headroom and up to 6 seats; remote-controlled electric powered access ramp with STORQ self-tensioning rear restraints; a power assisted combined winch and restraint system, and subtle mood lighting making it the most comfortable, spacious, user-friendly and well-equipped wheelchair accessible vehicle available today.

VIP guests were also able to explore Brotherwood’s whole wheelchair accessible vehicle range , chat with expert advisers, and test drive the vehicles of their choosing – all whilst enjoying the complimentary hospitality and wonderful exhibits of one of Europe’s leading automotive museums. The Haynes International Motor Museum is the UK’s largest collection of the greatest cars from around the world, with over 400 amazing cars and bikes from the dawn of motoring in the late 1800s, through nostalgic classics of the 1950s and 1960s, glorious Bentleys and Rolls Royces to world renowned super cars like the Jaguar XJ220.
