Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles From Brotherwood
Since 1985, Brotherwood have been designing and manufacturing the highest quality Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles. Our attention to detail, customer care and commitment to quality mean that our ‘WAVs’ carry an excellent reputation with customers across the world.
We place emphasis on wheelchair passenger comfort in all of our Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, ensuring that the wheelchair user is situated on a level floor, with a consistent head-height to other passengers. This creates excellent visibility from the car, and enables wheelchair users to travel inclusively with their family and friends. Although our conversion process is extensive, our Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles blend seamlessly with the other 31 million cars on the road.
Each Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle we manufacture is also tested to the highest standards for wheelchair passenger safety, ensuring your peace of mind when travelling. We understand that your requirements may be unique, and will work with you to create the perfect mobility solution for your needs.
This is why Brotherwood conversions are renowned as the highest quality Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles available today.

Used Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, Hire & Motability
Used Wheelchair Cars
Brotherwood Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles have earned a reputation of being built to last. We often buy back our conversions, refurbishing them where necessary. This means we have a good selection of Used Wheelchair Cars, if you are looking for an alternative to buying a new mobility car.
Hire a Wheelchair Vehicle
Often you may have a short term requirement for a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, for example an annual holiday when you need a larger vehicle, or to help a disabled friend or relative. We have an extensive hire fleet comprising all of our recent popular Wheelchair Accessible Car conversions.
Lease a WAV Via Motability from £3,847
Motability allows you to exchange part of your Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment for a new Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. The Motability scheme offers Contract Hire for a fully converted WAV. An advance payment is required, and the usual lease term is 5 years.
The Brotherwood® Difference
A Brotherwood Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle undergoes an extensive manufacturing process unlike any other conversion: whether our compact, entry-level mobility cars, or larger, family-orientated Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, each car is meticulously engineered to the highest standards of quality.
Our Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles enable our customers to travel in comfort, whether in the front or rear of the car, with particular attention paid to the floor level, headroom and outward visibility for the wheelchair passenger. We are very conscious of our customers' individual needs and strive to make each journey enjoyable for the wheelchair user.
You are welcome to visit our Dorset factory, where you can take a tour of our industry-leading facilities, and see our extensive conversion process for yourself; in order to appreciate the quality and workmanship that goes into every Brotherwood Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle.See Our Manufacturing Process

Just wish to congratulate all of the people who contributed to helping me purchase the best car (for purpose) I have ever driven (in 57 years of motoring.)

We have been most impressed with every aspect of our purchase of my son's car and with the vehicle's performance. Altogether it has given my son a new lease of life. We are very grateful.
